Configuring port security for VMware instant recovery

To perform an instant recovery, you must configure port security to No Security (Open All). If you prefer, you can change to a higher security setting after completing the recovery.

To configure port security for VMware instant recovery

Log in to the Unitrends appliance that you will use for the recovery.

Select Settings > Clients, Networking, and Notifications > Ports.

At the bottom of the screen, select No Security (Open All).

Enter the root password, and click Confirm.
