In most cases, the Windows agents are automatically installed when you register the client to the backup system. If you need to install them manually, use the procedures in this section.
To install the Windows core and bare metal agents, download the desired .msi files from the Unitrends Downloads page (https://support.unitrends.com/go/downloads) to the Windows machine.
You can then install each agent by launching the installer or from the command line. In most cases, you will use the installer. You will need to use the command line option if you have deployed a Windows 2008 server with the server core option, or are using Group Policy to deploy to multiple Windows machines.
