The following additional requirements must be met to protect Oracle on Linuux ASM environments:
| • | The Unitrends appliance must be running release 8.1 or higher. |
| • | The Linux server must be running agent version 8.1 or higher. |
| • | The Linux server must have the Linux Oracle dependency installed. |

Once these requirements have been met, run backups and restores using the procedures in Executing Oracle backups and Oracle restore from the backup system.
