Restoring a backup when the SQL icon does not display

If you added a client with SQL installed, ran backups of the SQL databases, and later uninstalled the SQL instance from the client, the SQL icon may not display in the Navigation pane of the Unitrends interface. The backups taken of the SQL databases are still on the Unitrends system and available for restore.

To restore an application backup when its icon does not display

1 In the Navigation pane, select the client that once held the application.
2 Select Status from the top menu.
3 From the Calendarized Backup Information pane in the middle of the screen, browse through backups by clicking the left and right arrows. You can hover your mouse over a date on the calendar to receive information on what types of backups were completed on that date. Click on a date you want to restore a backup from.
4 Any backups completed on the selected date are displayed below in the Recovery Point Times list. Click on a backup you want to restore, then click the Restore button.
5 Continue this procedure with step 5 of Executing a restore from the Status tab.
