Restoring SharePoint backups

The SharePoint agent supports restore of full and differential backups. With SharePoint backups, the agent leverages STSADM or PowerShell (SharePoint 2013 and higher) to perform restore operations. Restores occur in two phases. In the first phase, backups are unfolded to a local backup system share (/backups/rae/<client_name>/<instance>). In the second phase, the agent invokes STSADM or PowerShell commands to restore back to the SharePoint clients.
